First, safety.
Before any strategy, we make sure you feel safe, respected and in charge — of your body, your identity, your pace.
Rooted in · Trauma-informed, culturally safe practice.

The idea
Attention, feelings and eating pull on each other constantly. We work across that overlap — while keeping an eye on sleep, sensory needs, medication and everything else that shapes a day.
What we watch
Attention
Runs on interest and urgency — not willpower.
Emotion
Arrives fast, and loud.
Appetite
Hunger, fullness, and a steady eating rhythm.
Arousal
Your nervous system's dial — overwhelm to shutdown.

How we work
From safety on the inside, outward to belonging.
Before any strategy, we make sure you feel safe, respected and in charge — of your body, your identity, your pace.
Rooted in · Trauma-informed, culturally safe practice.
Your body is always sending signals — hunger, tension, restlessness. We help you hear them again, with curiosity, never control. Always weight-neutral.
Rooted in · Eating-disorder-informed practice.
Practical skills for emotion, attention and routines — sitting alongside medication, never instead of it. Eating support stays additive, never restrictive.
Rooted in · CBT-E · Barkley's self-regulation model.
Self-compassion, connection and identity aren't extras — they're where change holds. Aboriginal-led and LGBTQIA+ affirming, by design.
Rooted in · Self-compassion & social-connection research.
Our promise
Our framework is Lauren's synthesis of established practice, emerging research and clinical experience. Some of it is well-proven — regular eating, trauma-informed care. Some is promising and still developing — like the link between ADHD and body awareness. We'll always tell you which is which, and refer on when medical, dietetic or other expertise is needed.
Most clinics won't draw that line. We think you deserve it.
